A more demanding certification, for the benefit of your patients

The new HDS (French Health Data Hosting) framework, version 2, mandatory for all hosting providers since May 2026, significantly strengthens technical and contractual requirements. elionis has been certified under it since April 2026.

Cold backup: your last line of defense against ransomware

Ransomware encrypts or erases everything it can reach over the network, sometimes including connected backups. Cold backup is a copy of your offsite medical data kept offline, on physically disconnected LTO magnetic tape: no attack can reach it.

High-volume backup

An architecture dedicated to your terabytes

Backing up dozens or even hundreds of terabytes cannot be improvised. For these volumes we do not pool resources: we design a specific architecture, at your practice and in the data centre, usually reserved for a single client and kept separate from our other systems.

At your practice: a NAS and a 10 Gb/s network sized for your production and for sending backups.
At elionis: dedicated professional hardware in our HDS-certified server rooms, in RAID 6 with tolerance for 1 to 3 failed drives.
Who it is for: ophthalmology and radiology practices and imaging centres, whose volumes grow every year.

Your high-capacity data is fully under control: in production on your NAS and in backup at elionis.
